Hi, i know all miniatures must be based in a 2.5 cm circular base, but for me is imposible to do it with .30 cal mg and his assistant. Is it illegal to base it in a rectangular 2,5x5 cm base? One base for the shooter and one for the assistant (or even a 5x5 cm with both of them)

Thanks

For Operation Squad you MUST have the shooter and the assintant in two different bases...

OK, but it could be a rectangular 2,5x5 cm base? One base for the shooter and one for the assistant.

Thanks again

Preferably all bases must be 2,5x2,5 circular...

I don't want to go against the powers that be but unless you are intending to go into competitions, I would say base them how you like. My infantry are based on 2p coins and my hmg on a cavalry style base which is an oval, approximately 2 x 2p coins.

I agree with John, mine are based on 2cm circular base. I can thus use them for OWW 2 as well.
My prone figures are based on 2cm x 4cm ovals and in some cases my HMG too.

This is my solution for prone figures - use a base that is either made up of a number of 25mm round bases spliced together, or one that has a 25mm half circle at least at the front. Like all my other figures, facing is marked on the front 25mm circle, and for gaming purposes a "virtual" 25mm circle at the front of the base is regarded as the model location, and from which all range and LoS measuring is made...

Apologies for quality of pix - dont have a proper camera for talking pix of minis.
